I learned something tonight….

In the end I love making drama.  I am working on a commission that involves non digital art.  So I painted.  And I find when I paint now its all about filling in a formula.  I don’t want to fill in a formula…..I want to make images that are provocative.

Collage

I made two paper collages and two digital collages.  I don’t necessarily like one better than the other….both are fun.  Is one a more valid art for than the other?  I’m not sure.

I like the results….

I’m digging making digital art!  I found some free stuff online and combined it with some of my pics.  I like the results.

Collage because my sewing machine doesn’t work…

My sewing machine has left me nothing left else to but make collages.  I will probably have to bring it in somewhere to get fixed.  Grrrrr.  So I did a little drawing and made some small collages.   The good news is that I sold five pieces at ArtSquare yesterday!

Long Weekend

This is my last night in the studio over a long weekend.  The time away will do me good but I still hate to leave.  I think I have a codependent relationship with my studio!
