Deborah Morbeto graduated with a degree in Art History from Massachusetts College of Art in 1992. Deborah enjoys working on both large and small paintings that often use several different media, including oil and acrylic paint, found images, wax, paper, glue, pastel, crayon, chalk and pencil.

Deborah has sold numerous paintings to private collectors around the world and has produced several commissioned pieces as well.

Deborah has a studio you can visit on weekdays at ArtSquare in Leesburg.

Deborah Morbeto was born and raised in Massachusetts, graduated with a degree in Art History from Massachusetts College of Art in 1992.


She began her career as an artist when she moved to Virginia in 1995 and since then has produced a large body of work.


Deborah enjoys working on both large and small paintings that often use several different media, including oil and acrylic paint, wax, paper, glue, pastel, crayon, chalk and pencil. She loves making art ‘just for the fun of it’ even though she considers art making her one true calling.


“Its relaxing, fun, exciting, challenging, silly, intense and spiritual all at once,” she says, “and it helps keep me sane!”


She likes the playful aspect of art making and enjoys trying out new techniques as often as she can.


“My goal with art is to have fun! I like to combine interesting elements into my work and experiment with non-traditional techniques.”


She has sold numerous paintings to private collectors around the world and has produced a variety of commissioned pieces.
